So I'm using a borrowed Xbox360 atm as I'm staying in a relatives house for a few weeks recuperating after spending time in hospital. I've been playing Red Dead Redemption, but I use it on 2 different TV's, one that is close to an internet connection and one that is not (have 2 sets of leads so it's easy to hook up quickly)

When I save the game when I'm offline it saves it as a date in 2005, but when I connect again to xbox live the progress reverts to the last time i was connected to xbox live with the 2005 date, but when I save it when I'm online it saves it to the correct date and time.

When I was on the HDTV this afternoon (offline) I had done 17% of the game, now tonight that im using the old 4:3 TV and connected to xbox live the progress is now 10% with the missions I had done earlier to complete all over again.

I've never had an XBOX as I've always bought gaming PC's which I have in my own home.

Help please!

Not sure but, I think you need to change the time/date (RDR, among other games, saves are time stamped).

Quote:
In the System section of the Xbox 360 Dashboard, select Console Settings.
In the Console Settings area, select Clock.
In the Clock Settings area, change the following settings:
* Date and Time: Use your controller or remote control to set the date and time. Set the date format by using the locale that you have set for your console.
* Time Format: Use the 12-hour clock format or the 24-hour clock format.
* Time Zone: Specify the time zone that you are in.
* Daylight Saving: Use the On setting if you want your console clock to automatically adjust for daylight saving time.

Note You cannot change your console clock if your Xbox 360 console is signed in to Xbox LIVE.

Each time you unplug it from the power source, the consoles clock/date is reseted. If you connect to live, the clock/date is adjusted correctly, based on the location settings.
