Oh god what a fabulous disappointment. Here I am thinking “wow Paul Anderson can pull shit out of his ass and make a story out of it”. So I thought the same when I saw AVP. But this… after watching this fucking joke all I can say is this (spoilers) Same god damn ending as AVP. Same story-elements! Same god damn bull shit! WHAT THE FUCK! FUCK!
But meh… milla is hot… re2 is better than re1

Want to know why? because Anderson doesn't direct he just wrote 
avp and re2 are the same movies by the way The endings are the same so if you watched one no need to watch the other...
The only thing this movie may cause is erectile dysfunction when you see millas titless titties 
so un-sexually appealing scene  But through out the movie she’s hot

Thought the film was pretty lame, it's a complete no-brainer and everything from acting to scripting and direction is weak.
There seems also to be too many all knowing references to other films like Aliens which is a bit unsettling as this particular franchise died a death in the first incarnation.
It's watchable but other than that, Resident Evil Apocalypse is shit with a capital, s, h, i & t.
