Square Enix has announced Trials of Mana, a remake of Seiken Densetsu 3 for PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC. It will launch in early 2020.
Trials of Mana is a full high definition remake of the third entry in the Mana series, previously exclusively released in Japan in 1995 as Seiken Densetsu 3. Trials of Mana tells the story of six heroes as they battle against the monsters of destruction that threaten a world where Mana has been weakened. Players can customize their own party of three, selected from six unique characters, to experience different stories.
Story
When the world was shrouded in darkness, the Goddess of Mana drew forth the Sword of Mana to smite the eight Benevodons, monsters of destruction.
She sealed the horrors inside the eight Mana Stones, bringing the realm back from the brink.
Weakened from rebuilding the world, the Goddess changed herself into a tree and fell into a deep sleep for many years.
However, the forces of evil soon sought to free the Benevodons to gain control of the world.
They started a terrible war to further their plot and destabilize the kingdoms.
Peace was at an end. Mana itself began to disappear from the world and the Mana Tree started to wither…
When these six destinies intertwine, the world will be born anew. Trials of Mana arrives on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Steam on 24th April, 2020. Pre-order Now!
I love the original snes translation where its just top down ARPG, not so sure on the gameplay of this remake. It's a Steam top-seller, has anyone picked it up and can comment?

Are you serious, dude? This looks gay af.
lol yeah i guess.
So they took secret of mana 3, gave it poor dialog & voice acting and made the gameplay like every other JRPG. Gameplay looks exactly the same as every Tales game, Every Star Ocean game does every single Japanese game now has real-time arena battles?

It's Secret of Mana 2 and they just left the old shitty dialog in it.
Seiken Densetsu - Final Fantasy Adventure / Mystic Quest
Seiken Densetsu 2 - Secret of Mana
Seiken Densetsu 3 - Trials of Mana / Secret of Mana 2
I wish they made a new version or sequel to Legend of Mana from PSX, that was a fun game.
I never rly bother with these bypasses personally, they almost always get patched pretty fast and often have crashes or bugs, denuvo licenses also don't last very long and expire on pretty much everything you change on your system so offline mode is not a permanent solution either, i hate nothing more then to be stuck with a non working game half way trough.

Neat, enjoyed the previous remake for what it was even if it had it's issues and now they're pulling out the big budget.
Though that half-elf cleric is still a bit ehh~ and the verbal tick W's can be pretty tiresome though the new translation overall seem to try and mostly improve over the fan one although the dub is well it is what it is but it's not the worst either just that it's kinda underwhelming and somewhat poorly delivered and not very well synced.
(Video screen snap but it works well for demonstrating that little trait.)
Neat concept too multiple characters and possible paths and ways to replay the game with some adjustments. (Less seduction more sass from one character.)
Seems the EULA got dug up for another game only it's not Seiken 4 it's possibly some IOS/Android phone spin-off so eh probably not the best.
Although the art for the fourth "Mana" game if it's the PSX one might be hard to capture in 3D in this sort of remake, will be interesting to see how Square Enix decides to go about that.
("Oh just upscale and filter it.")
EDIT: I should just play through the SNES ROM first I suppose see how that stacks up against this.
There are some nice mods for this game (yeah there are obviously tons of naughty mods so don't ask ) i definitely recommend at least a difficulty mod like this one: https://www.nexusmods.com/trialsofmana/mods/16 since the game is very easy by default.
It's pretty much a 1:1 remake though so if you played the original you probably know what you are getting into.
