LucasArts' physics-powered Star Wars action game The Force Unleashed will hit the PC and Mac for the first time with this holiday's "Sith Edition."

The Sith Edition is set to include all three DLC levels for the title, including a Hoth level exclusive to the package. The special edition will also make an appearance on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, with Aspyr Media handling the Mac/PC port.

I was so dissapointed when I first heard that this wasn't going to make it onto PC. I love how things change. xD

Well, good port or not - it's still very much a console game sort of experience. Nothing much to shout about. The sort of thing you'd rent on the PS3 (or illegally download on the 360 Wink) and then forget about down the line.

Sadly, the game isn't terribly good. It's a much better tech demo, then it is a game.

Correcting people since 2007 even if they're not wrong.

This game will feel like a port reguardless as it's a hardcore console game. It's not even that great.

God of War wanabe with a Star Wars setting.

So much for the previous "PC isn't powerful enough" excuse they tried to feed us...it was bullshit then, it's even more bullshit now. Very Happy

The demo sucked ass. Typical brain dead button mashing arcade game, it just makes me sad playing it remembering how good the Jedi Knight series used to be.

Well since the plot is apparently good and really changes some Star Wars mythos, it should be good.

Funny, on the demo your vaders' apprentice, and have to go do some shit, but kill everyone who see's you, theres no stealth in this game period, and when you get into a bunker..you can't kill everyone, cause the storm troopers constantly respawn like whores

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed to PCs? LucasArts Says No

We received a statement from LucasArts regarding the possibility of a PC edition of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed referenced in the story below. While they cannot be certain what it was the Pixelux Entertainment COO said on the topic, they are unequivocal in their denial that a PC pot is in the works: "I can tell you definitively that there is no PC version of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed planned

Bummer Sad

It just felt like a hack n slash fest esp with the respawning, the force powers seem quite nice, but it's no jedi academy experience that's for sure.

and the use of quick time events dumb it down even more imo.. and with no light saber damage that killed it for me, hopefully the pc will address that problem Very Happy

No point of having it open since its not coming out to PC. There was already a thread on that matter.

The consoles can keep the damn shitty game. The fanboys liked to brag how we wouldn't be getting it and I say its a damn good thing. Clearly the reason why its not coming to PC is because they know it would fail in sales.

it's probably gonna be a shitty port and mediocre at best like most star wars games
most because Jedi Knight series (except Jedi Academy) , KOTOR series and a few more games were good
