They are not magical. And they're not flash drives, they are microcontroller based (PIC)
So there's no way to copy them on a flash drive. You can make one yourself very easy with some basic soldering skills. @DarkSkies the Ps3Free seems to have great support. I'd go with that one if you don't want to make one yourself.
