Quote:
According to a survey by the industry research group spanning three months, 75 percent of consumers 13 and older did not download digital content on any platform at all. Some 15 percent downloaded content via a PC or Mac, 4 percent through a smartphone, and 2 percent connected via a Blu-ray Disc player or a digital video player, such as Apple TV or Roku. (The sample size of the study was not provided.)

The remaining 6 percent downloaded content via a connected "game player," a category that covers the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Wii.

They reckon there are more DLC purchasers on the PC than on consoles? Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah, if you say so. I scratch my chin at THAT.

The key is "13 or older".

Clearly 95% of the console community isn't counted for in this survey.

I'm gonna guess the sample size in the survey is close to 1000 since they did not say how many.

Joking aside, yes, this "survey" is very much pure bullshit.

Another factor to consider following the under 13 thing is internet access. How many console fags have internet access compared to computer users with internet access? DLC kinda hinges on that.

its such a stupid study... like most of these fucking things always are...

if you have 10 pc users in the world and you take a sample of 5

compare to 2000 console users and you take a sample of 5... jeez.. of course your more likely to 'hit' the pc dlc fuckers than the console ones, even if your sample is the same.
