|
 |
Perhaps there is a thread like this, but the search didn't come up with anything conclusive, so here I go.
I'd like everyone dropping by to add a few games to this list, games you played and loved, but games that have mostly gone unnoticed, games that you think might have eluded some of us. As you can see, I'd like something interesting and original to play, but have ran out of titles. I want games that are original though, and are for the PC - I don't own any consoles at the moment.
Thanks.
I'll add a few for starters:
Clive Barker's Undying
Sanitarium

freedom fighters, sacrifice, freedom force, giants citizen kabuto, armed and dangerous, psychonauts, silent storm, fallout tactics, divine divinity (the 2d ones)
...but certainly not beyond good and evil, simply because over the last few years so many people whined about the praise and commercial success it didn't get that by now more or less everybody should have played it

The I of the Dragon
Restricted Area
The Fall - Last Days of Gaia
Cave Story Deluxe
Duel Toys/Duel Toys 2
Eschalon (all Books)
iji
Planet Alcatraz
SpaceForce Captains
Strange Adventures in Infinite Space
and, finally,
Weird Worlds - Return to Infinite Space.
If people here have played even HALF those listed games, I'll be very surprised.

And they're all brilliant mate, trust me. Eschalon/Cave Story/iji/Duel Toys and the Infinite Space games are all indie titles and worth playing by everyone, especially iji and Duel Toys.

I loved the ending where :
Spoiler: | The credits rolled... I was like whew, cool game.
And then rolled BACK so you could REALLY finish the game, obviously... AWESOME. |

Also Geneforge Series
Don't let the graphics deceive you, this is a Fallout like game set in a fantasy world, with non AAA graphics.

Evil Genius was a great one that I don't think anyone played...
Other than that, I remember the good ol' days of Redneck Rampage, Interstate 76, American Mcgee's Alice, Giants Citizen Kabuto, MDK2, etc. ad infinitum...
