I have a Modded Ps2,

I have pressed backup

well, Recently I bought a new DVD burner.. and got to backup a pressed dvd...

Well, I used Nero, Alcohol, Recordnow, Discjuggler and so on... none works, it will not boot the DVD...

I burned the DVD at 4x 2x 1x none works.


Is there something else I need to do to the image file?

Do I have to edit or Patch the Iso I made? Is there any software ...

please help...

Is there anything I should try to edit in the iso? or are there any program that will allow the iso to be boot to the ps2 easy?

Well, first of all you need to know how does your chip does the boot. The most common ones used nowadays you dont have to do nothing the backup should run just like the original. Open tray insert dvd close tray and it should be up and running.

If i were you right now i would try another brand of media, the PS2 lasers can be quite picky about bad media. A couple of brands just wont work no mine.

Use something like TDK, SONY or RITEK. And burn it at 2X max for the test.

If it still doesn't work you might have a bad image file.

soul calibur 2 cannot be played on backup dvd-r... ? any tried this?

guys, it depends on the dvd+/-r media and also what burner u use...
and of course your ps2 too

so u may have try out different brand with different media codes to see which one works for your ps2... pain in the A ...

Soul Caliber 2 works perfect burned on a Ridisc Dvd-R using Dvd Decrypter to burn at 2x speed.
