Usenet with SSL my friend. It is still catchable of course, but ISPs are quite slow to limit Usenet.

They fuck me over if i exceed dl amounts everytime.. I might leave it on a whole month on SSL and see what happens and abuse it a bit, but gee if it fails I get a whole mnth then of 80kbs for leeching  nice !!!!.. |

it also might be choking effects. When you re using both up and downstream at the same time, the TCP/ip overhead of either up or down will start to choke the opposite site. So, limiting your up and down bandwidth in utorrent or similar to about 75 to 80% will give you best results for happy torrenting. I usually only limit the upload and it has worked great for ages now.

it also helps with browsing while downloading via torrent for me, which otherwise often was really sluggish =)
