Instead, it's going to some random old school musician. Yes, technically they get some money (79p or whatever of your money), but the idea is to show Simon Cow and the whole music industry that we are not stupid fucking puppets. It's a big FUCK OFF to them.
The people who buy Simon Cowell kind of music WILL buy that kind of music regardless of this campaign and he WILL get a truck-load of money. What this willl only achieve is get people to buy another even more irritating song from a group that you are somehow convinced is better. The UK has been coming out with some good programming lately. Same goes for my country, Canada. Like quality shows where as the US is starting to lag behind in terms a) Original content b) good shows
I've been watching lots of "B" comedies produced by the BBC and the Canadian Film Board....they are fucking good. Not cheap looking, good comedians etc

American TV is going to have to get better cuz both Canadian and English TV are coming out with good shit now.
Only new shows I watch that are American are Chuck, The Event, Eureka and another one but I'm having a brain fart....

To extend that, I watch maybe 10 mins of American news a day and the rest is Canadian (until they get back to where they started out during the cast) and the BBC and BBC News World.
American Media is just to biased and I don't like the fact that the anchors give opinions.
Those reporting the news SHOULD NEVER give their opinion and Canadian news ppl don't and the Brit News Chans I get, they don't either.
