I am generally a great fan of Anime, Death Note and Evangelion are amongst my preferred masterpieces.

I have tried to watch one Code Geass episode a couple years back, when it was first being aired, and I just had something against the visual style, it seemed to cartoonish, very unanime like, but it seems this show is critically acclaimed everywhere.

Any of you have seen it and can post a mini review convincing me to watch it (or not) ?

I thought it was brilliant.Yes maybe the style is kinda weird, but I got used to it. Story is great imo. There are many tactical battles, mechas, supernatural stuff and also school drama.

Watch Legend of the Galactic Heroes and Planetes instead. You won't regret it. Geass isn't bad per se but the second season can only be described as Plot Hax: the anime.

Planet-ES ftw.

It took me some Episodes to get into it, because at the beginning the chick is REALLY annoying, but at the end I found it to be one of the best series ever.
