hey.
Well, me and 8 of my friends have now been playing Starcraft for like 8 hours, but we've gotten pretty bored with it.
anyone got any tips for a good game to play on lan?
also played joint operations, which was fun for a bit..
Small games, huge games, new or old..
Reply if u can...

Operation Flashpoint
i played it allot with my brother.
just make a map with a big castle and let 10000 of computer controlled soldiers attack it.
damn that was fun

its much alike joint operations isnt it?
cars, helicopters, etc?

hmm I think there's a mod for GTA3 that lets you play internet and lan games. Thats fun for sure.

Splinter cell pandora tomorow.
SP sucks, but MP is really great. Brings something new to multiplayer gamming.
You'll have to count at least an hour to "learn" the game. Meaning to learn to use every items, and to get used to at least one map.
But I promise it's worth it. After that the game is really great.
Also, one thing is that you can only play 4 on a maps. Since you're 8, you'll have to play 4 and 4.
Apart from that UT2004 is fun. Just play onslaught.
War 3 is also quite good. As every strategy game you have to get used to units before you can apreciate it.
Also, if you are still playing starcraft, you might be a bit over-used to it. Some player simply can't get to another game. For instance, some player will never like anything else than counter strike or total anihilation ...
Just gives a chance to new titles. Gives them a chance to be something else than starcraft. If you start playing War 3, and you get all "na, I prefer the way the zerglings move", or "terran structures are better", slap yourself, look in a mirror, and repeat yourself that THIS IS NOT STARCRAFT !!!!!

Bf1942 is fun with 8+ people. also, offcourse europa 1400 gold is pritty good ( alittle slow, but a good busines game, if you get bored with all Action )
