Any really. DVD writers these days are pretty much all the same. Personally I'd recommend another Pioneer DVR, my old Pioneer DVR-110 lasted me for years. Now I'm running some piece of crap NEC/Sony OptiArc 7203S -- and it works just fine, despite being a fraction of the price of my old Pioneer.. heh.

What sabin said..but I had small problems with new ones..
I was using some new LG burner , but he only allowed me to burn DLs @ 4x..every third game worked. Then I bought from a friend Pioneer DVR-111D that he never used and after burning ~80 games @ 2.4x I only had few coasters..

My old DVR-110D was a proper beast, thousands of burns out of that baby before it finally started dying. Thousands.

My 112d has been faultless for many many years, always used aone DVD's and can count the coasters on one hand! (until now).
Just had a quick look, I can't beleive how cheap these writers are now!! £15 for a sata drive.
Any thoughts on a lite on drive?
EDIT: this one http://www.play.com/PC/PCs/4-/19387126/-/Product.html
£12.99 delivered! Lol
