Getting extra cash is tough, but you can always abuse the shit out of the "attempt to trade" option until you find someone willing to trade something silly of yours for some cash ("You find someone who wants 25 bullets and offers $40 to trade" ) since the only downside to waiting/trading is the time that passes.
