As a survivor of the mutant virus together with a comrade or alone, you must make your way through the city levels, every new area uncovering new challenges to overcome and mutants to destroy.
With a large variety of weapons at your disposal, together you must wipe out the hordes of flesh eating mutants. On the way you can use vehicles and clever puzzles must be solved, but teamwork is the key to survive the Dead Horde ...
Day 1: A deadly military designed virus created to wipe out small countries, is released into the water supply of a small city in a terrible accident. The virus does not simply kill humans, it is highly infectious and mutates humans to cause as much chaos as possible.
Day 4: The first causalities of the contagious virus are seen, mutated humans with blind rage and a taste for blood. They attack without hesitation, with teeth and claws, killing and infecting all those around them.
Day 5: Screams are heard all around, the police forces are overwhelmed, most of them are now victims to the virus. The military makes the city a quarantine zone and shut off all routes to the city.
Day 10: With most of the city population now mutated by the virus, only a few groups of resistance are found. The virus starts to adapt and mutates the humans into bigger and stronger mutants, even more hideous than before. Together the survivors try to fight their way through the hordes of mutants, with one goal, to reach the edge of the quarantine zone...

* Make your way through the levels with a huge variety of weapons. Use assault rifles, shotguns, grenades, miniguns and a lot more to unlock during the game
* Fast paced action with seemingly never ending hordes of mutants.
* Mutants evolve and become bigger, faster and stronger throughout the game.
* Use vehicles solo or with a teammate to fight the mutants
* Earn money by killing mutants and buy or upgrade weapons

Eghhh.... to be honest, I don't know what to say about this. Had I have not played Dead Nation beforehand, I would have in all likelihood looked more favourably upon this.
... sadly for DnS Development; I have played Dead Nation.
This game is a copy of the PS3 exclusive Dead Nation, only it's not a very good copy. The visuals are poor, the sound is poor, the gameplay is ripped direct from DN - and poorly ripped at that. I've no doubt it might get better towards release date, but I honestly doubt it will ever match the polish and style of Dead Nation.
Dead Horde is what Gameloft would put out. A pure 100% copy of a better game, that's a little rough around the edges. If you don't have a PS3, or have never played Dead Nation, you might enjoy this. Depends on the price really.
Oh and didn't really encounter any bugs, so nothing much to report in the way of beta testing, just that it needs a lick of paint (or several gallons of it) and a lot of polishing.

Steam says this was released today. Anyone try out the full thing? I played Dead Nation and had fun with it but wouldn't mind a PC version simply because most of my friends are on PC and not consoles.

I'm trying to buy it, but PayPal crapped out on me so now my Steam account is locked mid-transaction and it will be for at least another hour. This isn't the first time this has happened.
