It does look good, but not having rare involved makes me wonder how good it will actually be.
Rare back then were fantastic, and although his looks the part it will come down to how it plays

i feel quite the opposite...especially in times like these where almost everything is 3d, i always look forward to brilliant 2d stuff like NSMB, trine, arcade style shmups etc. just adding a 3rd dimension doesn't automatically make a game better and 2d games still have a unique appeal

Completely agreed! I spent more time with NSMB then any other game in the past couple years!

Nah, just a highly clocked dual-core (tri and quads don't offer any increased benefits and most likely never will do) and a relatively "ok" GPU. Ideally you want 3.6Ghz+ on the CPU. I must admit, it's pretty damned awesome to be able to emulate something as recent as the Wii with minor issues.

So my Quad @ 4x3GHz isn't good enough for WII emulation? oh noes :'(
(btw is a single candle enough )

A 3.6Ghz dualie is far from "awesome" these days, lol. You can pick up an E6600 for what? €35? €40?
