DONT get me wrong or anything, ppv's are for shit, not much better than a ts, but still.. usually its a sign that releases are close, and its weird seeing three major releases getting ppvs in one day... heres hoping some blu-rays are close. green lantern should be about 2 weeks tops, but maybe sooner if pirates 4 is any indication?

The PPV release of The Beaver was actually of quite good quality. It was better than most DVDScreeners or Regional DVDs...

Yeah some PPV releases have descent enough quality for me... but your right on the point that a good release is laying around the corner when those show up

I'm waiting for those releases also, but I'm not waiting for blue ray, just some good rip  PPV quality sucks ass...

The source of the PPV rips are hotels that have the LodgeNet system...

The reason all these PPV rips appear at once is because they just made them available at the start of September.
I have no idea why anyone would pay for such shitty quality though.

They show movies early on planes as well and they are always in 4:3 ... I haven't stayed at a hotel in a while that didn't have a 16:9 flatscreen but have never wanted to pay the $15-20 they want to watch a movie that hasn't been released yet

they do have 16:9 but those hotels are expensiver and they're still some weird ass private brand.
and the 4:3 is still in most hotels i've been in the past year or so 
Even in some of those 300 a night hotel rooms
you don't go to a hotel to watch a movie and it's there in case you're interested.
