I'm thinking of buying a 470GTX (they're dirt cheap right now, around 200€), thing is I'm unsure how much of a bottleneck my mobo is. The card is PCI-E 2 (or 2.1 can't remember) but my mobo only has PCI-E 1.
So I was wondering how much of a bottleneck this would be and is it a worthy card for 200€?

It should be fine. PCI-E 1.0 x16 has the same bandwidth as PCI-E 2.0 x8, and that's been proven to cost about 1% performance, so nothing noticeable. And yeah, at 200 euros the 470 is an excellent buy, it'll last you half a decade or so, because that's when MS will be done milking the 360

Hmmm, I'm looking at benchmarks on this card and it's not much of an improvement in framerates over my GTX285... o.O

Depends on the game, in anything graphically taxing it should be quite a big difference at roughly the same temperature/power consumption.
