A few months later Valve will introduce a game storage fee, just $0.99 / day per game. "With a huge popularity of STEAM, the system is resembling a safety deposit box more and more. Any self-respecting organization charges for such service, we think it's time for Valve to do the same", said Valve boss Gabe Newell.

In the last survey they asked how many people used torrent programs, and the answer was 40%. I'm not gonna say all of them use it for pirating, but i'm sure most do. They know they're clients (or at least a great number of them) pirate and buy games, and they cannot afford to loose them.

But he said "In the next 12 months", so if they announce in late 2011 L4D3 with a late 2012 release date it wouldn't be much of a "shocking" surprise.
