I don't mean this as a...predujiced remark (right word?), but only ppl who don't believe in Global Warming are Americans. And obviously not all Americans, the morons ie Tea Baggers/Party, Evangelical Christians and or Extremists....
Christ, they actually believe the world is 6000 years old and we rode dionsaurs like in the flintstones....
Fuck, you can pick up a rock anywhere, carbon date it and it shows that the earth is billion's of years old.
Not to mention humanity is somewhere between 68K-100K old (saw it on The National Geographic Channel...they've eclipsed the Discovery Chan...even MythBusters is gettin ridiculous).
These are the ppl who believe in the Bible (and other religions have these idiots too) as LITERAL fact.
Thats when wars breakout and ppl get hurt
We, as a society...as humanity, need to move past the psychological disorder which is religion.
Religion did serve a purpose. Before science, it provided sensible answers (for the time)....but to believe in a talking snake and shit like hat,,,,,,'
I don't understand how otherwise smart folk can believe in any religion or doctrine of faith as FACT rather that MYTH
No one...from me, to anyone on here, to the Pope to the Gran Iatollah (sp?) knows what happens when you die. Thats a fact that is not debatable
The only way to know what happens when you die is to die and then why would u even care right?
I fully accept what I choose to agree with in terms of spirituality is myth. But its something that makes sense, provides comfort and I agree with it ya know.

I hear ya. We have cold winters to (its Canada for shit sakes).
But that is just more evidence of Global Warming. Because 'Warming' is in the title, they think unless its January and 25C, GW doesn't exist.

And as for the crazy Christians/Evangelicals who believe in Creationism....fuck. I have yet to meet anyone from any western country that believes 100 percent in Creationism except for Americans. Obviously, the vast majority don't and knows its hogwash, but the fact that a good deal do is fucking scary.
When I watch Religulous (Bill Maher movie), I was dumb founded at some of the shit these ppl believe in.

Arabic, Farsi and Hebrew are all read from right to left (probably more languages but I can't think of any other at this moment). So basically if you read a book in any of those languages you start at the end...

The global carriers of warmth, something we call currents in the ocean, carrier belts, are stopping or slowing down.
Theese currents, such as the gulf stream, is something that usually carries warmth up from the equator to the northern degrees, if they stop, it gets colder on the northern and southern hemisphere, but warmer and hotter around the equator. Which is happening right now.
Why does this happen? Well, as the polar caps melt down, you get more and more fresh water dropped ontop the salty water of the oceans, ice is fresh water.
Fresh water is lighter than salty water, so it likes to float on top, which causes the big
belts to slow down, or stop completely.
Now, do the morons get yet, why global warming can cause a big chill, or even a new ice age?
Global warming can cause a new ice age for the northern and southern hemisphere.. how quaint.
This is because the heat exchange ceases...
Why don't people understand simple exchanges of energy?
