yep, but spoofing alone like its mentioned in the nfo will not work. we need a modified eboot.bin like for other new titles

One is already out =) A modified EBOOT has been out for several days now, since a member on PSX-Scene has had the retail game since then.

Exactly my thoughts. Just need those patched EBOOT or Self files like we did for the previous 3.50 titles.

I never got anywhere near completing the first. Real shame as I bet this is going to be awesome. Just see no point if I didn't finish the first what are the chances I stick at this one.

Verify what hermes payload you have, I'm running v4b which spoofs the PS3 to 3.50
Then once that's done just FTP the game to your PS3, replace the eboot.bin with the one in the game directory.
I believe also you have to edit the sfo file to a lower firmware version. I don't know as I haven't even got the game yet but will test this week.
To confirm an earlier post, the modified eboot.bin file is out in the wild. Again, I haven't tested it as of yet.

hermes4b with spoof to 3.55 works fine with that modified eboot. no need to edit param.sfo. only "problem" is that the game will only boot in english

The Marvel release is English only. The EUR version is in stores this Friday, a release should pop up then.
