The spinpoint f3 drive should be the same price or cheaper and it's faster.
The PSU will be pretty rubbish, you could change that for a reputable branded one.
Not sure on prices on anything there because i only work in £ and $.
What ram is that exactly and what voltage is it?
Corsair 750D :: 750W DPS-G:: Asus x370 PRO :: R7 1800X ::16gb DDR4 :: GTX 1070::525gb SSD::Coolermaster 240MM AIO::

Why don't you wait on the Sandy Bridge premier which is just 2-3 weeks from now?

Oh yeah, didn't even see the Euro price on the crappy monitor I've got here
Anyway, check if that Kingston set is in the QVL for that motherboard. Just go to Gigabyte's website, find the product page and then either download the manual or the specific RAM test reports (MSI has the QVL available as a separate PDF for example).
As for the PSU: aweful website, they fail to show proper names in most places and such limited choice :/
No other good website you could order the PSU from? Problem with the Chieftec is that they don't show its exact type. There is one small subset of units that are half-decent, I think it's the upper half of the Super series or something like that. Those are CWT builds, which is good enough - all the rest are aweful units though :/

that Chieftec is CFT-600-14CS, which I understand is in the Super Series...
Have to click on an item to see Tootekood (product code) on that site, usually gives the proper name

That would be a CWT build indeed, but still be careful with it. It has 4 +12v rails, which can take 18A each for a total of 576W.
I still recommend looking for a Corsair VX, best value PSU you'll find at that pricepoint

It will indeed drop the i5's price, as that signals the end of the 1156 platform (which is the current i3/i5/i7-8xx series). So you can either choose to still go for the i5 but save a little money, or get the brandnew 1155 platform. Early benchmarks showed a nice improvement over the 1156 CPUs, so you can probably get even more performance at current prices

They dropped the i7-950 by 50% (from €500 to €250) back in July, just 2 months after its release.
