uhm, neon. I've driven quite a lot in Poland, and IMO the roads there are GREAT compared to many other countries! The worst road is in east germany BEFORE you get to Poland if you're coming that way. Especially the Berlin - Szczecin road.
I'm actualy in Poland right now, and it's pure pleasure driving here compared to Norway, even tho you guys are not that good at snowplowing

I'm all norwegian.
Most roads in europe are better than the norwegian ones, but IMO the roads in Poland are really great. Even compared to other european countries. There are many shitty ones, but at the speed they're currently upgrading them, most of them should be perfect in a few years.
And I'm talking about mainroads / roads with some normal traffic, not all those sideroads to all the villages filled with drunks and no normal life.
