Didnt like it much at all, i didnt care for any of the characters, they were extremely one dimensional, at least a little character build up and some more introduction to them would have made it better.
It's violent but hardly "shocking", so not really worth watching it just for that, and it didnt work well as a revenge movie either since i didnt care for the main charater. The plot is extremely simple too, not worth the watch for that either. It did have very good acting most of the time though.

I know what you mean. There was a lot of fuss here about a thai (not korean 100%) movie where a guy was doing all sorts of nasty stuff to win a lot of money but when I finally grabbed it it turned to be some badly acted shit with fake poo made of chocolate.

I think people who watches a lot of korean movies arent overall spoiled with quality stuff, they're also probably very, very tollerant or just have very low expectations.
If this movie had been hollywood produced with a better budget, better (or just as good) actors, then everyone would've hated it, but now it's KOREAN so everyone HAS to say "wow, best movie ever", "smartest thriller of the decade" (lol) etc when IRL its just a very ordinary and quite crappy revenge movie with a very simple and quite stupid plot.
