Well true to their word, Jun Group has released Episode 2 of "The Scene." My opinion? I still like it. Mea fucking culpa.

I quite liked Episode 1, the cries of "gay" notwithstanding. To me it's simply a situation drama, just like on TV but with the scene as a backdrop. I don't understand all the negativity and paranoia...it's just entertainment. No real security is breached or mentioned (Blowfish, site channels, SSL, SSH, etc) and the story is a whole lot more interesting than the garbage on "Must See TV." As for a "warning" what are they warning us about? Using 15 year old chat software? Just my opinion, of course. Rolling Eyes

I did get to see Episode 2 today (it seems to have been rlsed last night) and it still holds my attention. The music is a lot better (Massive Attack fan) and the story could take a twist and go in a lot of directions.

I may be the only one here, but I do like it. I think it does little harm to the real scene, and I'd sure as hell rather watch this than "Joan of Arcadia." Very Happy

Thoughts anyone?

Are we going to have a new topic each time they release a new episode ?

I won't even bother downloading this crap. I have no idea what Sony is trying to prove and to whom...

About Hitman: Movie (2007)
Vin Diesel is a hardcore gamer, and absolutely loves the Hitman series. For that reason I have faith that he wont destroy the movie.

Response: Well, Uwe Boll probably loved the Alone in the Dark games.

It does indeed little harm to the scene, but if they are sceners i dont actually see why they release this shit to the public. (its downloadable on there website too afaik).

I heard rumours it where guys from SONY who made/released this shit, i dunno what is true.
I saw them both, but its not that this is my best series ever.

What makes you so absolutely positive it's Sony? I don't think it is (too clever for them) and it has absolutely no effect on what they are trying to prevent. Means and opportunity they have, but what's the motive?

Again, to me, it seems to be just a situation drama put out by a media company.. Methinks you give Sony way too much credit. What could they possibly hope to gain? You even admit you don't know what they are trying to prove or gain. I see nothing possible. So, the logical conclusion?

It's probably not a Sony production.

Just my $02.

I do find it interesting as a story though. So far.

Yes, the rumours come from inside the scene (IND) and they've got pretty good proof that it's made by Sony. I will watch this release anyway.

May I see some of this "pretty good proof?" So far all I see is one employee involved who appears to work for Sony and a bunch of other people who, when Googled appear not to work for Sony. That isn't pretty good proof to me.

Neither IP in the first episode led to a Sony server. No VAIO hardware appeared in the movie. What "pretty good proof" are you referring to?

Who cares about proof? This is a pitiful attempt at propaganda.

Any person in the scene with half a brain (or more) hate anyone who charges money for pirated stuff, it's a no-brainer.

Yes, yes I'm back.
Somewhat.

and i don't see why this show should do any harm, they show absolutly nothing and all things they talk about are "public" knowledge, i mean they get this knowledge by browsing forums like this. And what's the fuss about sony, who cares who is behinf this show, i get the feeling they want to promote this freebord thingie, but the real goals are hard to guess.
