Just saw the 2009 episode of the Inside the Actors studio with Mickey Rourke, and what really got to me was how genuine this guy is. He's an emotional guy that has a lot of baggage but he's straight up front with it, and this is not taking into account what a brilliant actor he is.
If you haven't seen the episode I recommend it, gives you a big perspective on where he comes from and why he's so believable in 'The Wrestler' (among other movies).
Honestly have to say I got a bit teary-eyed when he spoke about his brother. But fuck, good stuff.
