The stock cooler is nosy little bastard. So I desire a new one, but what to chose?
1.Noctua NH-C12P SE14
2. Scythe Ninja III
3. Arctic Cooling Freezer 13 Pro
I have a
Gigabyte GA-890GPA-UD3H, Socket-AM3

and 2 ram slots are taken.

The Arctic cooler shouldn't be in that list, it can't compete with the other two. Noctua and Scythe will both do a great job, go for the cheaper one.

See if you can find the corsair H50. 10 bucks cheaper than the Noctua and does amazing job at cooling while dumping the heat outside of the case instead of inside.

I was eye balling that H70, is that the one using the thicker radiator? They cam eout with a couple different ones. Was it the H60 that came out using the same rad. as the h50 but use the smaller profile pump?

i'm running with a 965be aswell, using the h70 set as intake my cpu idles at around 24c & maxes around 35c now.
not used anyother 3rd party coolers before, only stock that come with the cpu's & i love the h70,bit pricey for a tight arse like myself but think its worth it for the perfomance it gives.
i use it on the lower speed setting using the fan speed reducer it comes with as without it was too noisey & full speed was'nt needed vs slower speeds cooling ability.
easy to fit & after 4months use the radiators still clean of dust just using the mesh fan dust filter that came with my cm690 lite case.
