Bastards responsible for Marc Ecko's Getting Up: Contents Under Pressure thought it may be good idea to fuck up amazing tv show.

Next generation video games are all about the cutting edge these days, but Ecko Entertainment took that literally when it announced today that Dexter, Showtime's popular series about a crime solving serial killer, would be carving its way onto consoles sometime soon.
According to IGN, developer information, price, console specifics and a release date are all "no comment" at this time. However, Marc Fernandez, Vice President of Marc Ecko Entertainment, said his company is working closely with Showtime to keep the game as faithful to the television show as possible. That probably means a heavy dose of bloody plastic sheets and actor Michael C. Hall's inner monologues.
"Dexter is the extremely rare TV show with enough layers of action and tension to translate perfectly into a compelling videogame," Fernandez said in a statement. "Our game designers, writers, and artists are going to give Dexter's morally complex world the kind of interactivity that gamers will love."
Additional information is expected on this title in the coming months. Meanwhile, watch your back. |

oh jeez this is gonna blow... sorry but dexter is a cool show to watch, but a horrible show to turn into a game....

Wait, what!? 
"A while back it was announced that the Showtime TV series Dexter would get a PC game adaptation. At the time the PC port of the iPhone/iPod Touch game was supposed to be out by February 2009. Now, over two years later, that PC port is finally available."
It took them two and a half years to port an iPhone game to PC?
