Dirty Bomb is the new shooter from Brink developer Splash Damage. The studio has announced the game alongside a debut trailer. Watch it below.

The official Dirty Bomb site states that the game is a PC multiplayer shooter, and Splash Damage is taking name reservations now. The clip shows a group of people running around a ravaged, futuristic London shooting each other. Check it out:

Looks boring and generic. And I think it will flop pretty fast if they make it a retail title. Might have a chance as f2p.

No info on the main page and in forum. And lolozaur didn't mentioned it - damn him.

 Spoiler:

And if the info was in the teaser I didn't bear to the end. Fell asleep in the middle of it.

I like how they skipped Brink during the "From the developers of" roll Smile

At the same time, the glimpses of gameplay looked more similar to Brink than to their previous titles.

But it's free, PC, and still Splash Damage, for whatever that's worth - gonna check it out.

I would have been genuinely surprised if Splash Damage had actually bothered with a SP campaign. Razz

Brink was technically shit (controls), and it was waaaaaaaaaaaaay too slow for a PC shooter. PC shooters are fast and twitch based, if you ask me, and no good PC shooter has been made in many years (I mean multiplayer).

Looking nice, but it's going to fail anyway. Kids these days have no understanding of the word "teamwork", and since teamwork is essential in such games... well....

Brink was shit, IMO.

Nice customization, but awful clunky controls that felt very unresponsive and the parkour aspect that was hyped wasn't all that great.

It felt very much like a console game even on PC with a mouse and keyboard.

Edit: LOL, it looks like a mod for BRINK.

Brink was a decent game with some flaws, but overall a decent game.

This looks like Dumbed down Brink, what the hell. Cool thing about Brink was the parkour stuff, and this looks like Brink, without it, so, boring.

Well as in Brink or in ET:QW, it has the same core gameplay.
But since we live in 2013 and noobs don't know how to play in proper teamwork to do objectives anymore, it's gonna fail nonetheless Sad

Is it just me or has TotalPompous improved his FPS "skillz"? Laughing

Watching him play FPS games used to be painful but he seems to be doing better.

I think you can still get into the beta through this thing

So far I think the game is actually quite good, much better than Brink

"Long story short, the game’s back to being called Dirty Bomb. This not only better reflects its personality, but also ensures that we have a single, consistent name across the globe." It also lets the developer use the hashtag #PlayDirty on Twitter to promote the game, which it admits is better than #LetsExtract.

I was in the closed beta test for this turd. I wonder if I am going to get paid for that or I'm going to get some in-game when it will be released Sad.

Game is pretty bad but some classes were kinda fun? Not sure what's the target audience is? I bet it's going to be F2P. Probably will fail like others.
