http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/high_end_gpus.html I was bored and checked this list.. can anyone tell me why on the 11th place - Quadro 6000 is placed with a cost of $3800 compared to the 10 above where the most expensive one cost $510? Those prices might not be correct, but how the hell can it be that big difference? shitloads of new stuff in my pc. Cant keep track of it all.

Actually, all the quadro card seem to cost alot...and after their price it has to ** ...not sure what this mean though shitloads of new stuff in my pc. Cant keep track of it all.

Quadro cards are specific cards for video editing/ gfx design and such. Not for gaming...

Fair enough. But what makes them so special? I mean, why so much more expensive?

quadro cards are basically just a geforce with maybe a few hardware changes, but the big change are the drivers, same with the ati fireGL btw. you pay the extra cash for stability and tailoring for specific apps Last edited by bushwacka on Wed, 23rd Mar 2011 18:21; edited 1 time in total
