I loved Torchlight, but once I beat it with one character, I never really played it much after. I did get in over 35 hours or so and found it to be well worth the $5 I paid for it. I'm not real sure how great an MMO will be, but it could be cool as long as you can do a lot for the free part and don't end up getting nickel and dimed to death on the pay stuff. I read the PC Gamer article though and I think it has promise. I definitely like Runic Games though, so hopefully it will do well.

I will def try the torchlight mmo. Really loved the SP.

Even if this only meant you can run through this with your friends like D2 it's good enough for me. I liked the SP version, and me and my mates still get this urge every now and then to play through all of D2 again - and we enjoy it every time 
In need of a replacement though, running out of specs to try!

Well this is off topic but Titan's Quest Immortal Throne is a very nice hack'n'slash with MP and definitely worth a look. They keep putting it out in Steam sales and I picked it up last year for next to nothing - bargain! ....Just a suggestion if you ain't tried it. Looks very nice as well and certainly is up there as a Diablo alternative.

I'm personally looking froward to this because I liked Mythos. Which was the only thing really good that was stirring at Flagship Studios. Same people behind this.
If Flagship had started with Mythos and made Hellgate free to play, things might have turned out far differently.

Could be an official coop expansion or mod? People have been SCREAMING for coop since the game was first released.

I would be shocked if it were anything but the MMO. I guess they could do an expansion or something, but it's hard to imagine why, unless they wanted to incorporate co-op or online for testing purposes before going all out with the full MMO. None the less, the image is very close to complete, so hopefully we'll find out this week what's up.

Wow! I'm a bit surprised they have been working on the MMO and a sequel. This is an instabuy for me as well. Loved the 1st one and this one has an open world, co-op and just more of everything. I really dig Runic. It's like a mini-Blizzard without all the Activi$ion garbage.
