Ok, after playing the new Swat 4 multiplayer demo which was recently released on fileplanet, and concluding that Swat 3 elite edition was way better, i decided to install it again after not having played it for several years. Anyway, when i try to start the game, it loads for a few seconds, but before anything appears on screen it goes back to the desktop with the following error "DirectX error DDERR_GENERIC". I have all the latest patches installed for the game, and i've tried reinstalling directx version 9.0c. I'm also pretty sure my vid drivers are up to date, they're only a few months old. I have a Geforce FX5950 GFX card.
