One of the scariest ones that I've watched recently is REC:

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1038988/

edit: uh already mentioned by Ankh Very Happy

Or you could simply install Amnesia and play it in the middle of the night Laughing

The problem with event horizin is that you need to put the scary parts in really slow motion to see them since they show in less than a second and you have no time to process what you just saw.

The Exorcist - not scary as far as I remember
Event Horizon - hell no. Seen it, not scary and sucks big time.
Sphere - seen it on tv few months ago. Not scary.
Dark City - I'll try. Seems lame.
28 Days Later - not scary, but boring
28 Weeks Later - same
The Ruins - I'll try

Ringu, The Exorcist, Omen (the first one), Changeling, Insidious (I didn't like it that much), The Descent, Freaks (not scary but disturbing), The Mist (the original and the modern one - it's a mystery rather than a hair-raising picture), Haute Tension, Audition, Dark Water, Premonition, The Others ...

The movie itself is good and I do enjoy it, but Sam Neil's acting just ruins it as a cohesive piece.

The Descent - saw both movies. They were not scary and sucked.
Changeling - which one? 2008 or 1980?
Insidious - saw it yesterday Very Happy. Well the first half was ok. The rest was fairytale. Not scary.
Freaks - 1932 title?
The mist - steven king...yuk... hmmm I probably seen parts of it, but it sucked?
The Others - seen it, it was ok.
High Tension - I'll try.
Audition - which one? 2003? All asian movies suck big time imo.
Dark Water - which one?
Premonition - which one?

Agghhhh... that Dark City. I just downloaded a sample and it seems familiar. I've probably seen it... Not sure if I hated it or not. Sad The sample seems ultra lame.

Why so harsh? I just said that the sample sucked. Maybe the movie is really good. Btw a movie about harp would be scary. A group of zionists from usa terrorize the world... until there's nothing to terrorize...
