Right, so Im a 5870 card (eyefinity 6 2gb) with 4 monitors.
Ive got this strange problem. My 3 main monitors can run 1920x1080 each (which makes 5760x1080).

Anyway, this works good ....from time to time! For some odd reason it tend to start in 4800x900 every now and then. And I have no idea why this happens. I cannot change it back to 5760x1080.

Sometimes when I run Driver Detective or even enter Catalyst Center it changes back to 5760x1080...but this only happens once in a while.

Ive got all the latest driveers (thats why I use Driver Detective).

So does anyone know why this is happening?

shitloads of new stuff in my pc. Cant keep track of it all.

Faulty drivers is what first comes to mind...Did it always happen or did it just start recently?

Maybe it has to do with that 4th monitor? Try plugging that out and see if it still happens.

And by faulty drivers I meant they were buggy, i.e. it's AMDs fault.

EDIT: Also I'm not familiar with AMDs catalyst control center(or any other software that manipulates the GPU) much, but is it running in the background all the time? Try permanently shutting it down (unless it's required for your monitor configuration or something) so it doesn't start with windows.
