by all means go ahead and do so Twobells. The Japanese store has sooo much more content then the UK one. It's worth making one up along with a USA or even a Hong Kong account (pretty much an amalgamation of the UK and JPN content) if you haven't already done so.

Ah dang, I hate these weird first person party dungeon RPGs. I can never get into them.
I like to see my party.

Agreed, whats even more annoying is the anime'ish characters in what was once a western made rpg.
Wizardry series are dead to me, good that I still have Wizardry 5 through 8 installed.

My vote is out till I get some hands on time but I do happen to agree with you.
However think back to Wizardry, David Bradley's artwork was always a little cutesy especially Dark Savant and XIII and Woodhead actually created the first US anime import company!
Lets hold off until we see some game play mechanics before pronouncing our disgust shall we?
btw: I still have my Wizardry credit card

Gave it a quick try last night. It seems pretty much like Wizardry as I remember it. Manga inspired character portraits aside. You make your character select another 5 members for your party and head off in to the dungeon/maze.
I would be hard pushed to call this title a next gen game as the graphics when moving through the dungeon are quite reminiscent to the old Bards Tales, Wizardy, Dungeon Master games. ie: moving through the dungeon one block at a time. Although the the textures are a step up in definition the gameplay mechanics are still old school for good or bad.
If anyone has played Class of Heroes for the PSP, it should give you a fair idea of what to expect.

Very strange, when you say 'one block at a time', do you mean that you step forward one pace at a time in one direction rather than the 360 degree availability we have now?

yep pretty much. Think of the old bards tales. Move forward and you move forward one 'grid' at a time on the map. You turn left or right and you turn the full 90 degrees and face that direction... If you get what I mean.
Basically movement wise its just like the old first person rpgs back in in the 80's.

I need some help in creating a Japanese account, if someone who can read japanese could advise I'd really appreciate it, I followed the various tuts on creating a japanese account but they all failed no matter how many times I tried.
It may be due to finding your location via your email address?

I think so yeah. Stick a .jp on the end instead of .com. Your zip code should be five random numbers, and in the drop down box select the second option. The rest of it is pretty straightforward (just enter random letters). But, obviously check youtube if you still can't do it.

It will be soon......ish. What pisses me off about Sony and their constant forced updates, is that I spend a LOT of money buying PSN titles (XBL too) -- but their lock out from PSN for anyone not running latest FW is costing them business, Instead I'd rather just look at ways of pirating PSN titles.

You'll burn in hell for that, blasphemous heathen! Anyway, good for you that you're not looking at ways to buy SECOND HAND GAMES. As we've recently learned, this is much worse than piracy.
