Was drunk, climbing it with two of my friends, I lost grip and let go because I though I was closer to the ground than I was. Ended up flying 3.5m onto concrete sidewalk.

I landed in a kind of a spider pose (on my back), and right now my left ankle and right wrist hurts like hell. I can't imagine how will it be when I sober up.

Well I wasn't crawling on the walls drunk true. I haven't got that drunk in a while. 1.5l of white wine and 4 vodkas was my limit tonight.

I've got pretty good with not puking every weekend, and that combination seems to work +/- few vodkas.

EDIT: And initially it didn't hurt at all Very Happy

Ohh and the worst thing at all, that did hurt immediately is that I bit my damn tongue. I can feel the freaking teethmarks in it.

I doubt you landed onto concrete when you fell off the bed. When I was a kid I fell of my friends back, which was about 1m, passed out and got a light concussion. Although in that case I did land on my head.

So it's plenty to cause damage yes Smile

Hell, I even jumped and fell badly onto grass once and got an arm fracture.

I recently had an accident at work where I fell of a ladder about 5 metres high whilst doing some outside work. I hit the ground hard smashing my left heal into more than 7 pieces. I've had an operation on it and fingers crossed it's worked but I'll not know until I can put weight on it which is another 2 months away. Bummer is I have to have another operation in the future to fuse the bones together so I've got all this to go again Sad

My advice would be to get xrayed to see if you've done any damage anywhere...

Needless to say I never hit the ground running...

Edit:

Quick pic just after the stitches came out...

There you go pal Smile

No I can't walk at the moment. I have to use crutches. I'm hoping that I'll be up and walking around October/November this year and I should be back at work December all being well.

They are saying three to four months non weight bearing followed by 2 months of physio then another could of months to get enough strenght back in the foot to loose any walking aids I might be using by then...

* Mental note to one's self. I don't get paid enough to do outside work so no more ladders for me in future lol

Haha that's quite funny !! As for the ninja thing, good idea !! Cheers for the get well wishes though Smile I to also broke my left arm twice several years ago. The first time was a crack through a bone cyst and took 12 months to heal in a cast and the second time it broke in three and a half places through the same bone cyst (that had shrunk in size a little) and was in cast for 13 months. Both times my arm came out of plaster it was as thin as a match stick. At least this time my accident was at work £££££ Wink Wink
