i know we generally frown on these 'oh yay another one dead, who gives a shit' posts, and usually i wouldnt post unless it was someone super legendary or whatever...
BUT... this guy was a major character in Babylon 5 (greatest show ever, yes it was shut the fuck up), so as such, and for no other reason, deserves a mention.
unfortunately he died because of drug abuse, so i wouldnt say its tragic or anything.. did that shit to himself... still gets that B5 credit though

Babylon 5 was nothing I really liked. I've never heard about Jeff Conaway. And if it was cos of drug abuse? Well, thats what you get for being an arse!
However, I feel sorry for his family and who knows - perhaps he was a good actor that really never got a big break other than a mediocre scifi telly series. So thats too bad.

And i agree... ofc man can like musicals. Grease is a great movie and without a doubt i'd love the musical also... its just that i wont pay myself a ticket.. rather spent it on cinema

No, I'm not emotionally invested in things like this - but it's still sad when people destroy themselves.
As for the actor, I never thought he was particularly good. In Babylon 5 - he was a decent enough character, but I didn't feel he brought much to the show. Basically, he was just there to put a face on Garibaldi's second.
