					| ok so i just did a reinstall of windows and did the updates and i launched minesweeper.
fuck me it all looks different.. AGAIN...

 anyway i start playing.

 i hit a mine.

MY FUCKING 360 CONTROLLER IS JUMPING AROUND ON THE TABLE AS THE MINES EXPLODE.

i dunno how long its been like this, but microsoft added fucking 360 pad support to minesweeper. at first i thought HA! thats kinda cool! rumble support for mines exploding... but 5 seconds later i realised that the 360 pad is shit for actually PLAYING the game with, so since i dont want the pad moving across the table every time i hit a mine, ill just disable the rumble feature.

 so heres the question.

HOW THE FUCK DO I DO THAT?! i see NOTHING in the settings for rumble support. the fuck was microsoft thinking?! (or NOT thinking as the case may be)... HOW DO I DISABLE 360 PAD RUMBLE SUPPORT FOR MINESWEEPER (and i never... EVER... thought id ever need to ask THAT question...)

and no, i dont want to have to unplug the controller every time i play minesweeper... thats just retarded... though i guess it is worthy of a microsoft solution...

					| yeah as i said... rather not... seems so stupid of MS to think that everyone with a controller on their pc quite OBVIOUSLY will only want to only play one of the most well established dawn-of-time pc games with a controller and not a mouse.
oh well. im gonna go have another drunk

					| You could still disable your usb port from the control panel
Well or just install any of the 1.000.000.000 minesweeper clones

					| im not using a controller for minesweeper. the problem is that the rumble kicks in when you hit a mine, so it starts bouncing around on the desk!
and yeah i have a controller for the pc. its fantastic for some games, especially since most of the games we get these days ARE console ports, designed for controllers.

					| you could try running it in a sandbox and forbid any hardware access (keypad) under IPC
