I have a Jap Machine with DMS3 chip, playing on a PAL 28'' Widescreen tv in the uk.

Connection is scart (rgb) but the picture always looks off center and awful at each side of the screen.

I tried connecting it up via S-video cable but i cannot get any picture at all.

Any idea's?

Dont forget the the TV system in Japan is NTSC.

Try it on a multisystem TV that accepts both NTSC and PAL signals and see if it solves the problem. You can alwyas try with an RGB cable on sale in almost every shop and its quite cheap.
