I have been having this issue ever since windows Vista was released, the issue continued to occur in W7 too, first thought it's a videocard problem, now that I changed my videocard I have no more options to blame .

Here's the problem :

The issue only occurs in browsers, I'm using the latest stable version of Google Chrome from their website .

Any ideas ?

Uhm I'm pretty sure it has something to do with Flash or Java since I recall having this too occasionally.

I've been having this issue with my old 9600 GT too .

Taking from the fact that my video is unlisted, who the fuck disliked it ?

This issue does not occur on windows xp .

If it doesn't occur in XP, then you gotta look at the only common factors here:
- Drivers for the motherboard and/or chipset
- RAM

You can rule out the CPU, HDD and everything else, none of them could cause this. Bad drivers could result in corrupted data, and corrupted RAM could also result in corrupted data. You been on the same CPU/RAM/Mobo since Vista?

If it doesn't occur in XP it may simply be because it's using different java runtimes, flash drivers etc. in Win7.

Java shouldn't happen (only loaded on demand), Flash might be the problem if you run Vista/7 under 64-bit, but as far as I know the 32-bit binaries don't care about your OS.
