Good day to you all,
Me and my buddy are planning on buying a 27 inch led pc screen.
We had this one in mind :
http://commercial.asus.com/product/detail/91
Does anyone have this model and if so or not, what is your thoughts on it.
We read some reviews which indicates a very good buy product but I always want more personal advice from people that actually tryed it.
I believe there is not many choices for similar products for that specific size so I hope it can deliver.
Considering the price tag I have for it, which is roughly 330$+tx canadian, I think this could be a good quality/price item.
Any suggestions or comments would be welcome.
Thanks

That resolution is better suited to 24" screen.
My suggestion would be to look for a 24" screen where quality will be better. unless you really need the extra size for some reason?

1080p is a low resolution for such a big monitor, you want to look at monitors with 2560x1440 (16:9, 3.6 MP) or 2560x1600 (16:10, 4.0 MP). The dot pitch (how big the pixels are) is shit on a monitor of that size at 1080p, you'll actually be able to count the pixels from 30cm away easily.
That said, I've not yet seen a good 27" monitor under 400-450 euros or so, and even then you can't go by price (Apple's 27" and 30" monitors are surprisingly shit for their price, even though on paper they should be good - lie about specs much?).

Thank you for your input. But again maybe Im stupid lol or maybe there is really something I dont get...If I understand what you are saying, your basicly saying that if 1080P is a low resolution for that size, then 1080P on a TV screen which can go up to 65 inch and probably more god knows...is low resolution even more at that rate ?
I would respectively disagree with you on that one. I mean, I watch and play on a 40 inch screen tv with my ps3 and it really looks good to be honest..(Dark Knight on blu-ray anyone ?)
So again please explain to me how it works really in your view. You can get technical if you want, I'll follow
Oh btw I will be standing about 3 feet from the screen when I'll be looking at it.
Thanks

Yes that resolution on that size of tv screen looks like shit,.
It is far more clear if you go close to the screen be prepared to puke at the image quality you see.
