Logitech Wireless Gaming Headset G930

http://www.logitech.com/en-gb/speakers-audio/headphones/devices/7248

its going to be used for skype, and movie/music listening... so hows the sound quality? anyone had any experience with these? anyone heard any problems with em?

if you can recommend any better quality alternatives, the prerequisite is that its wireless, good sound quality, and has a quality mic for skype.

thanks.

I've tested these of a friend's. The quality was good. But it was only for a brief moment so I can't judge any further on. However, around 3 months after his purchase, the left plastic rim cracked up a bit resulting in a full broken left side in a few days of normal usage. Well, he claimed he hadn't hit or dropped them on the ground, they had just fractured out of their own (from the constant putting on and off of his head). Don't know - maybe it's just a single case and can happen virtually to any other product... :\

If you want to give up the mic, there are many better professional headsets that would give you awesome movie/music sound quality. Check out stuff by Sennheiser, Pioneer or AKG. Don't buy the really expensive ones though as those are proper studio headphones and usually sound pretty bad unless you have extremely HQ audio source.

The G930 is the same as G35 but wireless...

I had the G35 a couple of months ago and i couldnt say it was good at all, at first i was happy to have it, but now i can say there are much better ones for less the money.

Now i have a Steelseries Siberia v2, much leighter, same quality and better mic, not that weak one from the Logitech Headset.

I pre-ordered this bad boy from Komplett.se ( European webshop ) ever since my Sennheiser PC350 and I have yet to recieve it because of some sort of fuck up in the logistics department of Logitech, so I can't really tell if they're good or not, but as far as being wireless goes, I've heard that it's quite good!

i think im gonna just take a shot and get these. there was the razer Chimaera 5.1 that i was looking at, but it was like 100 bucks more, and i just dont think the price is worth it.

hopefully if this logitech set isnt good, i can either rma one that does work, or if theyre a shitty set, hopefully i can return it.

heres another question...

it should be straight forward to have TWO sets of these on one computer right? two sets would be able to play the sound without trouble and without interfering with each other, yes?

I've got the G35 and I just love them, so the wireless version of them would be awesome... ^_^
