Whore of the Orient: LA Noire team’s new game PS4, Xbox 720 game get
A statement on the official Whore of the Orient website reads, “Shanghai, 1936. Whore of the Orient. Paris of the East. The most corrupt and decadent city on the planet, where anything can be had or done for the right price. Plaything of Western powers who greedily exploit the Chinese masses. Boiling pot of Chinese nationalism, with the Kuomintang ruthlessly trying to suppress Communism and the labour movement. Home to the International Police Force, a group of Western cops hopelessly trying to keep the lid on and keep the peace.”
“From the development team who brought you L.A. Noire and The Getaway, along with the Academy Award winning film production team of Kennedy Miller Mitchell comes a completely new and original IP being developed for next generation games consoles and PC.”

New Details:
Quote: | A new website for LA Noire dev Team Bondi's next game, Whore of the Orient, popped up this morning (as discovered by OPM), along with new information about the barely mentioned "great untold story." The game is headed to "next generation games consoles and PC" with Warner Bros. Interactive as publisher.
The game's set in 1936 Shanghai, China – "Whore of the Orient. Paris of the East," as the website calls it. A "group of Western cops hopelessly trying to keep the lid on and keep the peace" seems to be the focal point of the game (the group's known as the "International Police Force"), though it's unclear exactly what kind of game it is. It sounds to be just as hard-boiled as Team Bondi's last effort, LA Noire, and the gritty look of the image above incurs the same comparison.
Team Bondi leader Brendan McNamara is once again at the head of the project, leading the remnants of LA Noire's dev team picked up by Kennedy Miller Mitchell.

The '30's Shanghai. Yeah, count me in. That was one of the worst cities on the planet at that moment and one of the most bizzare. There were chinese, of couse, but there were plenty of europeans. The place of meeting for international men and women of mystery, the place where the underworld was at home. And there was the japanese occupation, shared with the british and the french. Done right, it could be one of the most interesting games that will grace our computers....

The only thing that scares me about the game is when they nearly complete the game they can delay the game or even worse cancel(at least for a while). The team is keen on consoles as many other studios...

I know it refers to the city, but the parents groups and walmart won't care. All they'll care about is the word "whore"
do you honestly think we're dealing with reasonable logical people here?

TWIN PEAKS is "something of a miracle."
"...like nothing else on television."
"a phenomenon."
"A tangled tale of sex, violence, power, junk food..."
"Like Nothing On Earth"
