I'm making the Thomas Bangalter helmet. I've been working on the first part for a while now and it takes a lot of patience. I just glued the cardboard parts together. Tomorrow I have to buy bondo paste / car fixing paste . After that I'll have to make 3 coats of the paste. Then I'll have to smooth everything with sandpaper.

I still need to get a baseball helmet, a visor and a LED Display... I hope that I can finish it untill Halloween or till the Tron Legacy premiere Very Happy

Can't you buy sth like that on ebay? I mean sure it must be fun to do it yourself (if you're into that kinda stuff), but why all the trouble?

Alright, I got my baseball helmet today and I also bought the colors + car fixing paste. Now I can finally start...well, I messed up the ear parts and I need to redo them first Very Happy...

I finished the parts on the side... I had to redo them because the first ones were messed up. Now I just have to add a part on the top and then I'll draw a cutting line for the helmet. Then I'll cut the helmet etc.

the soda cans at the side were already worth a laugh, the most awesome thing though is that he didn't even bother to make a cut for the "mouth" in the cardboard, but instead just drew a black line Laughing
