I'm planning on a 2011 socket upgrade if it's impressive enough over my 920. might hold off a bit longer though..this 920 is serving me well.

I'm just upset that there isn't any USB 3.0 or PCI Express 3.0. But the fact that the northbridge is basically extinct in that it will be handled by the SandyBridge-E CPUs is pretty sexy.

No tall heatsinks if using a chunky metal cooler like my fenrir it seems.
If i go with this upgrade it looks like a switch to a closed loop watercooling unit might be in order.
