I cant start the game with the update, there are 4 files right:
dxhr.exe
steam_api.dll
steamclient.dll
THEGFW
just gives me a 0xc00000005 error on startup.. any ideas?

Hmm i only had one update file: dxhr.exe
Copied this to gamefolder and it worked fine.

Had your game worked fine without this updated exe?
I did the following with my game:
1. Downloaded crack from SHiTROW (which is actually ALI213 crack) and copied it over.
2. Downloaded updated exe and copied it over.
Also: Is this new exe file of yours actually cracked?

I had to use the "other" steam_api.dll i found in that thread at that place...
WITH the uptated exe... won't start otherwise
crack from shitrow as is did not work

Yeah i fixed this by getting Deus.Ex.Human.Revolution Update v 1.1.622.0 PROPER from pirate bay long ago since that not a problem anymore.

Doenst work with this PROPER.But lucky for me,find update 1.1.622.0 cracked and worked with this.Problem is entirely from crackig of EXE.THere is something wrong with cracking procedure of this CEG deffence on some systems.As i say only crack 1.0 work ,but it was impossible to play with ver,1,0 because of bugs.WIth update 1.1.622.0 there is no problems.Archive that i find doesnt have exact name,PM me someone if you want it.

Yes,there was a link in a thread there (TPB)
to a diff .dll
didn't bother with latest update as i have zero issues and don't like to tempt fate lol
