Hi

The first disk installs OK but disk 2 gets stuck at virtualtextures/wasteland1.pages.

The message I get is: 'An error occured while trying to copy a file: the source file is corrupted. '

This seems unlikely as all the disks extracted fine. I am running Windows 7 32, have over 35 GB free for installation.

I assume I cannot just skip this file?

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated

Go to this page and download MD5 Hash program (Unicode build).

After downloading is done, extract the MD5.exe file and use it to calculate the MD5 hash checksums for the following files:
  • sr-rage1.iso
  • sr-rage2.iso
  • sr-rage3.iso

then provide us the results for comparative purposes.

Thanks for the tips - I DL DVDs 2 & 3 again, then ran quickpar which reported no errors, and managed to successfully install the game. Fingers crossed my oldish rig will have some of the probs other people are having.

@TheRaccoon - will try MD5 Hash program for future releases.
