^^ I agree, probably won't last long, but I'll delay my judgement until I see a couple of more episodes. I liked the first one but I don't see them going any higher than that.
OT: I'm also going to check out 666 Park Avenue tonight. Haven't seen any trailers for it so I have no idea what to expect. Heard a little about it and I liked the premise. Something about a haunted building or something like that.

watched the first 3 eps today. Once you throw away any kind of logic and sense of realism, i guess its a ok "popcorn flic tv show".

The ratings started off mediocre and fell from there. I would be amazed if this gets past the initial 13 episode order.

ABC ordered two more scripts to be written, potentially taking the episode count up to 15. Some are speculating that they want to provide a conclusion to the story as there is no chance of it continuing past the first season. The ratings tanked even lower with the fifth episode so it remains to be seen whether the additional episodes will be made or even if the entire initial 13 episode order will air.
So in other words, don't get your hopes up.

Well, this wouldn't work as a long series anyway, so if there is a proper conclusion, a 15 episode miniseies is perfect.

Cancelled by ABC (along with 666 Park Avenue).
Both shows will air the original 13 episodes that were filmed, but the additional two episodes that ABC ordered will not be put into production.

I really couldn't imagine how they would make that story continue for more than one season.

Sucks for 666 park avenue. I liked that one. This one went to shite after a few ups. Sad how they dont let a show even get a proper audience before cancelling it

I knew there was a catch to it when i found a show i liked. Fucking Americans. If it's not zombies, secret agent or a investigation show, it's not selling.
Well, this is government, but the show tries to do something new and that's part of why i enjoy it.

It kind of is patriotic. They want to root out the evil from the government and make it the great nation that it was previously, and they don't shoot Americans.. First time they fired it was a fake torpedo and second time they actually HAD to fire it was conveniently Russians and not Americans.
What else is there to watch now that is new and good? I draw a blank :/

It ended. It ended well. Somewhat rushed in the end, but was a good last episode. Braugher is a brilliant actor.

Ohh so it did have a proper ending? I read that the episodes were finished before the cancellation and they weren't going to change anything. Regardless, if the ending is good as you say, ill watch the rest from where I stopped.

I think it was evident there were reshoots. It ended the best possible way within the given circumstances.

i enjoyed the series, not sure why half decent series (i also enjoyed threshold - please dont hate me for it) get cancelled when alot of other crap goes on for 8+ season etc
definately rushed the ending but atleast it concluded
