Amy, a survival horror title supervised by Flashback creator Paul Cuisset, launches on PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade on 11th January, developer Lexis Numérique has announced.
Set in a post-apocalyptic America where a virus outbreak has transformed the human race into flesh-hungry feral beasts, the story follows a woman attempting to survive the carnage with the help of the titular eight year old who's blessed with a set of mysterious powers.
Out next week on PSN and XBLA for £7.99/€9.99/800 Microsoft Points.
Marketing talk, Hydrophobia Prophecy is just as bad as Hydrophobia. The voice acting, the story and the characters are awful (not to mention the controls, bad level design and clunky frame rate ) I doubt they change much on anything in that regard.
But back to Amy, I think a few patches might improve the game - the save thing is the worst so far. As for the cheesy things about the game... well, it's like watching an horror/survival movie - it's another one of those, so I don't mind.
I tried this out for about 30min , its pretty toxic. It really plays like an alpha build. Trash controls, glitchy, screen tearing, bad frame rate. Could have put up with the ass GFX and Sound if it played ok and was smooth

I bought this for PS3 too :/
Maybe it will get patched ...
