I get "program can't start because WMVCore.DLL is missing from your computer" All other games I play work fine like Battlefield 3.

Game uses WMV files for it's movies (As did Arcania itself.) you might have uninstalled Windows Media Player or some such. (It's used as a codec for that movie format I believe by the game so you need the file even if you have other players and codecs, most other titles now seem to use BIK format though / Bink player or what it's full name is which is usually with the game separately via bink32.dll.)

I have the original and it works fine. Im running Windows Ultimate N that doesnt have Media Player installed on it. Not sure how to get it installed. I searched and couldnt find it except from microsoft and they want validation. I downloaded a torrent and that didnt work out either.

Ah right sorry I forgot about that with the N edition, above about media player might work then. Alternatively http://www.multiupload.com/ZTAOVF8Z81 That should be the files needed, either for the System32 folder (Under Windows) for 32-bit OS or for a 64-bit OS it's System32SysWoW64 or what it's called. Or the game directory.

Try this: http://www.free-codecs.com/download/Windows_Media_Format_11.htm if doesn't work: http://www.dlldump.com/download-dll-files.php/dllfiles/W/wmasf.dll/download.html and put to the same folder where EXE file is or to system32/SYSWOW64 dependig on the type of your OS.
